This two day, 16-hour Instructor course has been designed to train Police Officers and Firefighter/Paramedics as instructors to teach Active Threat Rescue Task Force skill sets.  The focus of this program will be to provide the knowledge, specialized tactical skills, and associated materials to develop, implement, and teach Rescue Task Force End User courses to Police Officers and Firefighter/Paramedics at their respective departments.

This Two-day, 16-hour course is designed to provide officers with the knowledge, specialized tactical skills, and associated presentations and materials they will need to develop, implement, and teach High Risk Patrol Traffic Stops to their officers.

This course will develop the students as in-house agency instructors in the use of 12-gauge kinetic energy impact munitions and their delivery systems.

This course prepares students to serve as instructors in Active Threat Response--the swift and immediate deployment of law enforcement resources to an ongoing, life-threatening “Active Threat” type of situation. These situations require immediate action and the rapid deployment of patrol officers. Students should be current and/or prospective department Patrol Tactics Instructors, FTO’s, Range Officers and other officers who are familiar with and proficient in basic Patrol Tactics, as well as Active Shooter Response techniques and tactics.

This course equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for effective integration of tools into High-Risk Tactical Urban Operations. Attendees will be trained to utilize the full spectrum of K9 capabilities during search operations and to communicate efficiently with supplementary assets such as air platforms, SUAS resources, perimeter officers, other agencies, and additional K9 units.

The course will highlight the MACTAC (Multiple Assault Counter Terrorist Action Capabilities) techniques, tactics and curriculum. The emphasis of this course will be the swift and immediate deployment of law enforcement resources requiring immediate action against armed offenders, be they “lone wolves,” or multiple groups.

This course will examine the AR-15 type carbine using loaner rifles and a tool kit that allows for complete disassembly, reassembly, and functional review of this rifle system.

This course is designed to certify instructors to conduct Patrol Isolation & De-Escalation end user training for agency patrol officers. The focus of this program is to provide students with techniques, tactics, suggested equipment and tools for isolating subjects and de-escalating critical incidents –specifically those that DO NOT involve suspects with firearms. 

This course certifies your department instructors to conduct hands-on scenario-based training in a realistic environment, utilizing converted training weapons and live role players. This course is designed to incorporate basic patrol operational tactical knowledge, awareness, core skills and performance into teaching and/or testing scenarios.

This course will enhance the officer’s ability to perform Tactical Live Fire techniques and tactics, allowing students to participate in realistic live fire scenarios to improve their ability to respond to active threat situations.

This course is designed to provide officers with the opportunity to practice and perform the active threat response skill sets necessary to accomplish the Rapid Deployment / MACTAC Missions. The class is a primary firearms skills course and is specifically designed to build on the skills and knowledge officers currently have. Officers attending the course should possess fundamental firearms handling and employment skills as well as be proficient at performing active threat response tactics and techniques.  

This course will provide students with the knowledge, information, safety protocols, and competencies they need to safely manage and conduct live-fire CQB shoot house training for Tactical / SWAT Team Officers.

This course has been designed to train Police Officers as instructors to teach MACTAC / Urban Tactics skill sets. The focus of the course is to teach attendees specialized tactical patrol skills that can be employed when officers are faced with heavily armed, violent offenders in an urban environment. 

This course is designed to integrate all available assets (K9, SUAS, Air Assets, etc.) into tactical, rural searching operations. The goal of this course is to educate tactical team members, K9 handlers, SUAS operators and all other personnel with capabilities that may be tasked with supporting these types of operations how they can effectively work together to enhance operator safety and increase the likelihood of a successful outcome.

Students will undergo comprehensive and in-depth instruction on the preparation and application of basic and advanced trauma care. The training is designed to provide first responders with a thorough understanding and practical skills to treat and survive traumatic injuries, including, but not limited to, severe bleeding, airway management, shock treatment, and hypothermia prevention. This program will not only provide the knowledge, specialized skills, and associated materials but also instill the confidence to develop, implement, and teach Immediate Trauma Care End User Course to Police Officers and firefighters/EMS personnel at their respective departments.

This course is designed to train officers in the fundamentals and tactical skill sets required during building searches and room clearing operations. The focus of this program will be to provide officers with the knowledge, specialized tactical skill sets, and strategic understanding to be able to manage, perform and teach three critical high-risk patrol functions: building searches, room clearing and arrest team tactics.

The focus of this course is to provide officers with the knowledge and specialized tactical skills they will need to improve and enhance their active threat response capabilities beyond the basic level. The class is an advanced firearms skills course and is specifically designed to build on the skills from the Tactical Rifle/Pistol course. Officers attending the course should possess fundamental firearms handling and employment skills as well as be proficient at performing active threat response tactics and techniques in dynamic environments.

The Rifle FTX provides the law enforcement officer an opportunity to practice with their patrol rifles and carbines on courses of fire that are practical, realistic, and mirror conditions officers are likely to encounter on the street. Only rifles of .223/5.56m/m caliber or any handgun caliber carbine will be permitted on the range.

In this course, K9 Officers will have the ability to run through multiple courses of live fire covering the tactical application of the pistol and rifle with and around their K9 partners.

This course has been designed to train law enforcement firearms instructors, department armorers, and individual officers how to select and properly mount duty handgun pistol optics – known as RDS or Red Dot Sights. Students will learn about the required tools and specifications to mount and maintain the duty handgun RDS-optic properly, practice live fire sight in procedures for the RDS/duty handgun optic and engage in courses of fire that illustrate the usefulness and effectiveness of the duty handgun RDS-pistol optic.

This course has been designed to build upon the ITOA’s basic Tactical Pistol & Rifle Course, providing officers with the opportunity to enhance the tactical firearms skill sets they have already learned at the basic level. The focus of this program will be to provide officers with the knowledge and skills they will need to improve their firearms capabilities in high risk, critical incidents.

This class will instruct individual officers in the nomenclature, function, stoppage diagnosis, and long-term maintenance of their own Glock firearms. Officers will learn to detail strip and inspect their weapons for proper cleaning and wear inspection. They will learn about preventive maintenance and parts replacement schedules to keep their weapons duty-ready. Officers will learn to troubleshoot and resolve function issues should they arise. 

This course is designed to provide officers with the knowledge, specialized tactical skills, and associated presentations and materials they will need to develop, implement, and teach High Risk Patrol Operations to their officers. The course certifies instructors to teach three critical high-risk patrol functions: building searches, high-risk traffic stops, and arrest team tactics.

This course has been designed to provide certified SWAT Law Enforcement Snipers advanced engagement skills sets to include 200-600 yard zero & engagements, MILS.MOA range funding, range cards and computing elevation, settings for distances without established zeros, positional shooting, tripods & barricades, moving target engagements, 100-200-300 yard movers, low light/night vision, thermal familiarization, vehicle & urban hides, high angle shooting, and much more.

This course is designed for Firearms / Tactical Instructors to provide all of the tactical skill sets, printed material, and training outlines required to teach and certify patrol officers to deploy and utilize a hand-held ballistic shield. This course focuses on the ballistic shield and related equipment, training and operational considerations when deploying the shield during law enforcement patrol functions. Topics covered include: stances, movement, reload/malfunction drills, live fire, basic CQB, perimeter operations, arrest team strategies, building searches, vehicle search, rescues, and other high-risk patrol operations.

This course has been designed to enhance Police Officers' ability to conduct Immediate Action CQB in critical life and death Active Threat Situations when Patrol Officers and Street Supervisors must act immediately to save lives. The course is designed to enhance the basic skills sets of officers who are already trained and are proficient at Rapid Deployment skill sets, and will specifically cover movement to contact, manual breaching, room entries and CQB.

This course provides officers with the knowledge, specialized tactical skill sets and strategic understanding when it is necessary to respond alone to an active threat situation. Officers will attend a short classroom presentation and then spend most of the class engaged in active threat scenario training. The class will culminate in several realistic force-on-force scenarios with live role players.
