Shooters will be able to run through multiple courses of fire covering the tactical application of the pistol and rifle at their own pace. They will be able to re-shoot the courses of fire as many times as they choose, so long as open space on the firing line is available.
GOALS & OBJECTIVES:
- Enhance the officer’s ability to perform Tactical Live Fire techniques and tactics.
- To allow students to participate in realistic live fire scenarios to enhance their ability to respond to active threat situations.
COURSE PREREQUISITES: Be proficient and familiar with the fundamental safe operation of the duty pistol and police tactical rifle.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ammunition- 200 Rds. Pistol / 200 Rds. Rifle (Minimum)
- Duty holster & Pistol with spare magazines
- Tactical rifle with sling and chamber-blocking device
- Ballistic vest
- Eye & ear protection
- Appropriate apparel for the weather
